Central Industrial Security Force has invited application for the hiring of Head Constables during the January-February, 2019.Total 429 vacancies  are called out for Male /Female /LDCE applicants respectively. Selection Process  is based on various stages i.e. PST/Documentation, CBT, and Skill Test & Medical Exam. After the successful completion of the Registration Process Applicants  can expect their Exam Date & Admit Card.

CISF Head Constable Ministerial Syllabus 2019 HC Exam Pattern

Exam Syllabus :- CISF Head Constable Ministerial Syllabus 2019 will be as follows :

General Intelligence : Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, etc.

General Knowledge : Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.

General English or Hindi : Candidates’ ability to understand correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested. Questions will be asked from error recognition, fill in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, etc

Arithmetic : This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.

Exam Pattern 

Exam pattern of CISF Head Constable (Ministerial) written exam is as follows :

(i) The written test will be either OMR/Computer based Test.

(ii) Objective type question paper to be answered on OMR sheet of 100 marks of 02 hours duration containing 100 questions on General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and General English or Hindi.

(iii) The questions will be set bilingual in English/Hindi

(iv) The minimum percentage of marks for qualifying for next stage will be as under:-

General /ESM : 35%

SC/ST/OBC : 33%

Note:-The qualifying marks of 35% for General/ ESM and 33% for SC/ST/OBC does not mean that all applicants who have scored 35% & 33% as the case may be will be called for next stage. The Applicants for next stage will be called purely on the basis of their performance/marks scored in written examination and cut off marks (category wise) which will be fixed after completion of written exam.
